 Reservations

  • Thank you for wanting to stay with us! You can make a reservation through either of our Airbnb and VRBO pages (here). We manage all bookings (including changes/modifications, cancellations, etc.) via the website where you made your reservation, so please defer to their respective rules and policies for more information.

 Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in Time: 4:00 PM

Once your reservation is confirmed on Airbnb or VRBO, we will send you a code for the electronic keypad on the doors. You are welcome to check yourself in and continue using this same code to come in and out of the house as you please.

  • Check-Out: 11:00 AM

Checking out is as easy as 1-2-3!

    1) Make sure you’ve packed up and gathered all of your things from the bedrooms and common areas prior to 11:00am.

    2) Write a little note in our guestbook

    3) Have a very safe return home!

 Amenities

  • Yes, of course! When you do a half house rental, that includes access to all of the shared areas of the house, including the: kitchen, dining room, parlor, billiards room, veranda and patio bar, and wrap-around porch. See our amenities page (here) for more information.

Please see posted signs in the guesthouse for some basic house rules and tips to maximize your enjoyment and time with us!

  • Please see our amenities page (here) for a full list!

  • There are ample public parking spaces right in front of the guesthouse that you and your party are free to use! Please be sure to check the posted signs during the wintertime, as the side of the street parking alternates to accomodate snow plows.

  • Yes! The entire house is perfectly warmed by thermostat-controlled radiator (hot water) heating.

Radiators can occasionally make a popping/clicking sound as air bubbles travel through the system. This is completely normal and nothing to worry about during your stay.

  • All bedrooms in the guesthouse have air conditioning. The second floor rooms have thermostat-controlled, central A/C, and Room 1 on the first floor has a window A/C unit for added comfort.

To cool down the entire house using the central AC on the second floor, be sure to leave the stairway doors open. For an extra-cold, extra-air conditioned first floor, you can also keep bedroom doors open during the day to further increase air circulation.

  • Once you complete your booking through Airbnb or VRBO, we’ll be sure to send you a confirmation code with the wifi password.

  • You will find all of the appliances you could need: a 4-burner stove, an oven, a full-sized refrigerator, a microwave, a dishwasher, a large sink, a coffee/tea maker, cooking utensils, baking implements, dishware, silverware, cups, and mugs.

We also supply some pantry basics to make cooking a whole lot easier, including: tea, coffee, cereal, cooking oil, salt, pepper, and assorted spices.

  • Yes! Locally-made, organic shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap are provided.

The Experience

  • Nope! The guesthouse is occupied by guests only. But, should you need anything, we conveniently live in a separate apartment next to the property.

  • Seasonally, the FREE Discover Niagara Shuttle runs seasonally and stops just a half a block from the guesthouse and runs all the way to Niagara Falls! See the Discover Niagara Shuttle Website for the full route/schedule.

  • You can visit our Attractions pages (above). Once you arrive, you’ll also find our “concierge corner” in the dining room, which is full of pamphlets and brochures to get you started!

  • Some say we have friendly friends that visit us from the past, others think that the radiators popping and original hardwoods creaking can be deceiving. It’s up for you to decide!
